Adam has more than 19 years of experience in the mechanical design field, all at RSA. He has provided detailed design services for numerous projects throughout Alaska with emphasis on cold climate design and sustainability. He is a LEED AP and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) with years of experience providing energy saving solutions for client and building owners across the State of Alaska. His responsibilities include system conception, layout, code compliance, design analysis, technical specifications, equipment sizing and selection, as well as construction administrative services. He has steadily advanced his skills during his time at RSA and now acts as a project manager, senior project reviewer, and provides guidance to more junior staff members. His dedication and client commitment are apparent with each project Adam completes. Finally, Adam is a current board member of Association for Learning Environments (A4LE).

Jeremy has been with RSA for 14 years, starting as an intern while completing his electrical engineering degree and now serving as a licensed electrical engineer. Jeremy has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication with meticulous attention to detail. In addition to providing exceptional electrical engineering designs and services, he specializes in special systems such as security, door access, video surveillance, and fire alarms. Jeremy has a strong understanding of rural Alaska design requirements both professionally and personally, as he spent many years in Bethel, graduating high school there and having family growing up in the nearby villages. Additionally, he has served as the past president of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Anchorage section and currently sits on the IES Board of Directors, as well as serving on the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) Alaska Board.

Brian brings more than 24 years of mechanical consulting design experience to RSA’s Management Team. As Principal Mechanical Engineer, he will oversee all mechanical staff, manage his own projects, and provide design guidance. Brian, a lifelong Alaskan, spent seven years working as a contractor in Anchorage installing building controls and mechanical systems. Brian is well-known for taking the time to explain technical details to non-technical team members in a comprehensive, yet understandable manner. His projects include educational, commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings or processes. His responsibilities include system conception, layout, code compliance, design analysis, technical specifications, equipment sizing and selection for these projects, as well as site inspections.

Channing brings more than 23 years of electrical consulting design experience to RSA’s Management Team. As Vice President, he will oversee all electrical staff, manage his own projects, and provide design guidance.
He has provided detailed design services for hundreds of projects throughout the State of Alaska and is known for his unique, creative lighting designs and for being a conscientious, thorough engineer. His projects include educational, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings or processes, and, notably, the Alaska Museum. His responsibilities include system conception, layout, code compliance, design analysis, technical specifications, equipment sizing and selection for these projects, as well as site inspections.

Roger has over 27 years of experience in the electrical consulting design field, all at RSA. During this time he has grown from a junior engineer to our firm’s leader. As President and Principal Engineer, Roger provides overall leadership, as well as firm strategy and vision.
He has provided detailed design services for numerous projects and has performed as senior electrical engineer, project manager, and prime consultant on a wide variety of projects in all areas of the State of Alaska. His projects include educational, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings or processes. Additionally, Roger is an expert in special systems such as security, access control, CCTV, and fire alarm systems. His design responsibilities include system conception, layout, code compliance, design analysis, technical specifications, equipment sizing and selection for these projects, as well as site inspections and construction administration. Roger is not only well-respected for his technical expertise, but also his enthusiasm for exceptional project delivery.

Mark has 34 years’ experience in the mechanical design field and 24 of those years have been with RSA. As Vice President and Principal Mechanical Engineer, Mark is responsible for all mechanical projects at RSA by providing direction and oversight to mechanical staff.
Mark is extremely capable at designing and leading projects including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and building automation systems. He has provided these mechanical design services on a wide variety of projects include schools and education facilities, recreational facilities, office buildings, industrial parks, housing buildings, hangers, libraries, and airports—among others. His client experience includes the private industries; municipal, state, and federal governments; and non-profit organizations. As a former contractor and facility mechanic, Mark has a practical working knowledge of what it takes to get projects installed and operational.
Mark’s code knowledge is extensive and he has served on the MOA International Fire Code review committee for the 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2018 code cycles. Mark is a member of and draws on the following associations: ASHRAE, ASME, Society of Fire Protection Engineers, National Fire Protection Association, International Code Council, and National Fire Sprinkler Association.
