RSA Engineering, Inc is seeking a Licensed Mechanical PE. Applicant must be licensed in the State of Alaska and have 5-10 years prior experience in commercial and industrial HVAC and plumbing design. The successful applicant will be able to work independently performing detailed phases of design. Applicant must be fully competent in all conventional aspects of design engineering and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgement in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Requirements:
• State of Alaska Professional Engineer License - Mechanical
• Willingness and ability to travel for projects in remote Alaskan locations

• Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively follow project schedules and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects

RSA Engineering, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training. Depending on the applicant’s experience, this could either be an entry-level position for a recent college graduate, or an EIT with 2-3 years prior experience in HVAC and plumbing design. The successful applicant will assist the RSA team in designing mechanical systems for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited ABET program
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam
• Willingness and ability to travel for projects in remote Alaskan locations
• Self-motivated and strong desire to learn
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering principles and conventions
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively follow project schedules and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
