Position Description
RSA is seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years’ experience in commercial and industrial electrical design. The successful applicant will be able to work independently performing detailed phases of design. Applicant must be fully competent in all conventional aspects of design engineering and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgement in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria for a wide variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Position Requirements
• State of Alaska Professional Engineer License, Electrical discipline
• Willingness and ability to travel for projects in remote Alaskan locations
• Ability to work independently to develop specifications, drawings, and construction phase instructions
• Ensure drawings, specifications, reports, and analyses meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to effectively follow project schedules and meet deadlines on multiple simultaneous projects
• Ability to manage and mentor junior staff members
• Desire to advance technically and as a firm leader

RSA is seeking an Experienced Bookkeeper. RSA is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team to work under the direction of our Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and financial functions. Experience in the architectural/engineering/construction industry is preferred, but not required.

General Responsibilities
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain all accounting documentation and records and maintain an orderly accounting digital filing system.
• Record and pay accounts payable.
• Issue invoices and collect from clients.
• Calculate payroll and issue payments to employees in a timely manner.
• Ensure that receivables are collected promptly.
• Record cash receipts.
• Assemble information as requested for the Controller’s use in creating financial statements.
• General Skills: Candidate must be reliable, highly organized, flexible, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and meet deadlines, and work in a team environment with a diverse group of professionals.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting
• Associate degree in accounting preferred but not required.
• Experience working on project contracts with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience is required).
• Experience with Deltek Vision software is preferred.
• Maintain strict confidentiality with firm and staff information.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
