National Park Service Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve Huna Tribal House

RSA delivered sustainable, culturally respectful mechanical and electrical systems for the Huna Tribal House to support interpretive programming and tribal traditions at Glacier Bay National Park.

Honoring Heritage Through Design

RSA provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the Huna Tribal House and Annex, supporting the National Park Service’s vision to create a central gathering space for the Huna Tlingit people. This project combined tradition and technology to meet functional and cultural needs.

Design highlights included exposed copper fire protection piping, customizable theatrical lighting, and ventilation solutions tailored to protect sensitive spaces. RSA also prioritized energy efficiency through the use of high-performance LED lighting and automated controls throughout the facility.
