RSA provided mechanical and electrical engineering for this project that involved the construction of a new, approximately 45,200 SF, two-story elementary school. Located on the same site as the existing school, the new building was designed to be constructed while the existing school remained in session. The mechanical design encompassed the development of new plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems for the facility. The sprinkler systems was performance specified and designed and installed by the successful bidding sprinkler contractor.
Electrical design included new power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, intercom, security and AV systems. Fire Alarm systems were specified to be designed and installed by a Fire Alarm contractor.
