Museum Expansion & Renovation

RSA delivered full mechanical and electrical design, LEED services, and commissioning for the Anchorage Museum’s 80,000 SF expansion and renovation as well as the Anchorage Museum’s Alaska Gallery renovation, a 15,000 SF high-profile project requiring precision and care to support new exhibit environments.

From advanced climate control and humidity regulation to specialized lighting systems and commissioning, RSA’s design met strict museum standards to protect and enhance sensitive artifacts and visitor experiences.

From planetariums to galleries, RSA’s design balanced advanced MEP systems with elegant architecture in order to ensure artifact protection, public safety, and an immersive learning environment across multiple unique spaces.
